New creative director, new name
Fashion house Yves Saint Laurent ‘s new creative director, Hedi Slimane, is working on quite a few changes for the brand, according to Women’s Wear Daily. The first one is a name change; Yves Saint Laurent will be rebranded as Saint Laurent Paris. When Slimane’s first collection is out the name change will be active, although we will still be able to spot the iconic YSL logo on the brand’s shoes, campaigns and make-up cases.

Yves Saint Laurent is een van mijn favorite modehuizen, maar vind het echt erg dat Stefano Pilati weg is.
En ik begrijp absoluut niet hoe Hedi het in zijn hoofd kan halen een naam van zo’n klassiek merk, na zo’n lange periode, te veranderen.

Ik blijf het merk gewoon bij zn oude naam noemen.
