Carey Mulligan is Vogue‘s nieuwste covergirl. De actrice, die dit jaar schittert in de roaring twenties film The Great Gatsby kroop voor Vogue opnieuw in de huid (en vooral ook garderobe) van haar personage. Hierbij de behind the scenes video, waarin Carey voorleest uit de roman, én de prachtige covershoot.

Modeseries geschoten onder water, ze blijven iets magisch hebben. Zo ook bovenstaande editorial van Grazia India met model Angela Jonsson in de hoofdrol. Into the blue in ontwerpen van uit India afkomstige labels als Ritesh Kumar, Alpana Neeraj en Urvashi Kaur.

Terwijl Annie Leibovitz in Californië bovenstaande fotoserie schoot met Rihanna, maakte Vogue er een gaaf behind the scenes filmpje van. Allebei even prachtig.

Victoria Beckham is the guest editor of Glamour‘s September Issue. This means she not only appears in a tongue in cheek fashion editorial, she also was engaged in choosing the September topics and models. See Victoria talk about her collaboration with Glamour (“Fashion is where I belong”)  & more in the video above and read parts of the interview below.

“It’s been exciting for me to see my ideas come to life, from type colors to photo selection to casting. I even made my own list of Glamour fashion Don’ts to keep out of the issue: boat shoes (unless of course you’re designer Alber Elbaz or on a boat!), Bermuda shorts, nose rings, Crocs, and American tan tights (that’s nude pantyhose to you).”

Victoria Beckham on why she is never seen smiling…
“Do you know, I don’t know?! I actually used to smile a lot in pictures. I think I only stopped smiling when I got into fashion. [Laughs.] Fashion stole my smile! I’ve created this person. And I’m not saying that’s not me, but I wouldn’t say that’s the whole me…. It’s an armor that goes up.”

Victoria Beckham on reading 50 Shades of Grey…
“I’m halfway through the second one. I even bought my mum the book! But every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I kind of dodge the subject. I don’t really want to talk to my mother about S&M.”

Victoria Beckham on her husband, David Beckham, coming to see her fashion show in New York this past season…
“It was the first time! He’s always been working or training. But I was nervous about this show. I was feeling a lot of pressure. He phoned me the night before, and I just said, ‘I want you to come be with me. I want a cuddle. I really do.’ And it was great to have him there. I think he was surprised; I don’t usually bother him with much detail. And then you get there, and the models, the hair, the makeup…I think he was blown away!”

Victoria Beckham on where she sees herself and her family in five years…
“I’d like everybody to be healthy and happy. I’d like to be growing the business at a steady pace, and to be making more women feel empowered, beautiful, and confident. And I’d never say never about another baby. It’s a juggling act—a career, family, a husband who’s busy. But I’d never say never!”

Interview Glamour.com

Last week Marlis Sluijter and Kaira van Wijk from Welikefashion dropped by at my place for some Moroccan tea, an interview and a shoot. I told them about my personal style, what I love to wear while I’m working and I shared some fashion memories. The interview (in Dutch) and the images are now online. Check it out here and here.

Here are some behind the scenes images from a shoot that took place last Tuesday…

Marlis and Kaira from webshop Welikefashion came by for some Moroccan tea and interviewed me about my job, my style, my favorite trends and much more. They took several pictures of me in different outfits and shot some of my interior as well.
