Carey Mulligan is Vogue‘s nieuwste covergirl. De actrice, die dit jaar schittert in de roaring twenties film The Great Gatsby kroop voor Vogue opnieuw in de huid (en vooral ook garderobe) van haar personage. Hierbij de behind the scenes video, waarin Carey voorleest uit de roman, én de prachtige covershoot.

Vanavond is LINDA.100 gelanceerd; de honderdste editie van één van de succesvolste bladen van Nederland. Voor het jubileumnummer, dat werd gelanceerd tijdens een heus LINDA. KIPPENVELCONCERT, gingen maar liefst 100 lezeressen in little black dress op de foto. Het resultaat is waanzinnig en als wekelijkse modeblogger van LINDA. kan ik natuurlijk alleen maar dolenthousiast en apetrots zijn.

Victoria Beckham is the guest editor of Glamour‘s September Issue. This means she not only appears in a tongue in cheek fashion editorial, she also was engaged in choosing the September topics and models. “Do you know, I don’t know?! I actually used to smile a lot in pictures. I think I only stopped smiling when I got into fashion. [Laughs.] Fashion stole my smile! I’ve created this person. And I’m not saying that’s not me, but I wouldn’t say that’s the whole me…. It’s an armor that goes up.”

“It was the first time! He’s always been working or training. But I was nervous about this show. I was feeling a lot of pressure. He phoned me the night before, and I just said, ‘I want you to come be with me. I want a cuddle. I really do.’ And it was great to have him there. I think he was surprised; I don’t usually bother him with much detail. And then you get there, and the models, the hair, the makeup…I think he was blown away!”

Victoria Beckham on where she sees herself and her family in five years…
“I’d like everybody to be healthy and happy. I’d like to be growing the business at a steady pace, and to be making more women feel empowered, beautiful, and confident. And I’d never say never about another baby. It’s a juggling act—a career, family, a husband who’s busy. But I’d never say never!”

Hate it or love it, but I quite like an American or British flag print. A fully printed flag top might be a bit too much, but with these flag covers I can wear the trend in a subtle way. I love the whole vintage look, which is pretty practical too, since I can freely dirt up my cover without anyone noticing it. Yay!

Dutchie Saskia de Brauw is the latest V magazine Spain covergirl. Shot by Nathaniel Goldberg we see the androgynous beauty posing in swimwear and jewelry from Lacoste, Herve Leger and Lanvin. To me the images feel more sporty than sexy. What do you think?

Sometimes fashion doesn’t have to be so serious. Especially when it comes to accessories I like playing around a bit. So I bought this iPhone cover at Piccadilly Circus last week. I’ve seen many fashion PR girls with iPhone covers that had ears, but this one is extra special since it has a fluffy tail too (lol). I’ve added it to my ever growing collection of iPhone covers.

P.S. That indeed is a sprinkled waffle (I ate at Queen’s day) on my iPhone wallpaper. Gotta love it!

Rianne ten Haken is the latest Dutch Vogue cover girl. The red head is catching waves in the coverphoto shot by Petrovsky & Ramone for Vogue’s July/August edition.  Rianne was already featured in Dutch Vogue before and both Vogue Italia and the Spanish Vogue put her on their covers (see below).
