Today was the first day of the Amsterdam Fashion Week. I will be working for catwalk photographer Peter Stigter the whole week, so I’m attending every single show. This afternoon I went to the Frans Molenaar award show, which is actually an unofficial fashion event during this week. After that designers Claes Iversen and Marga Weimans presented their spring/summer 2013 collections during the fully booked opening night. I simply loved Claes’ collection in which he brought back some of his success designs and details from previous collections. Yet Marga’s collection was also quite impressive. Those structured dresses looked very strong on the catwalk and did you see the wooden shoes (last picture)?

It was a nice full first day of fashion. Now I’m off to bed. Enjoy!
